Who operates this site

This website, comfortfoods.in (“the Site”), is operated by MECA Engineering Solutions (OPC) Private Limited, a company registered in Bengaluru, India (“Comfort Foods”, “we”, “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these terms.

This is a pre-launch waitlist, not an order

Comfort Foods has not yet launched. Nothing on this Site is an offer to sell, and nothing you submit through this Site is an order, a purchase, or a binding contract of any kind.

  • Joining the waitlist means you’ve asked us to contact you when Comfort Foods launches in your area. It is not an order, a reservation, or a guarantee of service.
  • We do not collect any payment through this Site. No card, UPI, or bank details are requested or processed here.
  • Joining the waitlist does not guarantee that Comfort Foods will launch in your city or area, on any particular date, or at all.

Prices and menus may change

The prices, plans, and menus shown on this Site are our current launch plan, prepared ahead of a physical launch. They are not final and may change before Comfort Foods actually launches — because of ingredient costs, delivery logistics, tax changes, or other business reasons. If you’re on the waitlist when a price or menu changes, we’ll aim to let you know, but nothing on this Site should be treated as a locked-in price until you actually place a paid order once we launch.

All prices shown are inclusive of GST at the rate applicable at the time of publishing, unless stated otherwise.

Founding member offer

The Founding Member Offer (25% off the first four weeks) is available to anyone who joins the comfortfoods.in waitlist before Comfort Foods publicly launches in their city. Its terms:

  • The discount applies to the first four weeks of an active paid subscription only, once launched.
  • It is available once per household/customer.
  • We may set a reasonable end date or cut-off for this offer as launch approaches; we’ll aim to communicate that to waitlist members in advance.
  • The offer is not transferable and has no cash value.

Student offer

The 15% student discount applies to single-meal plans only (Veg or Non-Veg, Lunch Only or Dinner Only) and requires a valid college ID to be shown or verified at signup, once Comfort Foods has launched. We reserve the right to ask for reasonable proof of student status and to decline or withdraw the discount if that proof isn’t provided.

Both offers are subject to change or withdrawal before launch, since Comfort Foods has not yet finalised its launch pricing.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or someone else’s personal information through the waitlist form without their knowledge
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Site or its underlying systems
  • Use any automated tool (bot, scraper) to submit the waitlist form repeatedly or extract data from the Site
  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose

Intellectual property

The Comfort Foods name, wordmark, menu descriptions, and other content on this Site belong to MECA Engineering Solutions (OPC) Private Limited unless otherwise credited. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them commercially without our written permission.

No warranty

This Site and the information on it (including menus, prices, and area coverage) are provided “as is,” for a pre-launch business, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We’ve tried to be accurate and to flag anything that’s an estimate rather than a confirmed fact, but we don’t guarantee that every detail on the Site is complete, current, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MECA Engineering Solutions (OPC) Private Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this Site, or from any change to the prices, menus, offers, or launch timeline described on it. No payment is collected and no order is placed through this Site, so joining the waitlist does not create any obligation on either side to buy or supply meals.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from your use of this Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Comfort Foods moves from waitlist to launch — for example, to add order and payment terms once we start taking real orders. We’ll update the date at the top of this page whenever we do, and material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
